  • Disappointed

I was disappointed in this book after reading all the 5 star reviews. It is very simplistic, and for such an emotive subject didn't generate any emotion in me at all. The dialogue is very basic, and a little trite, and there is little in the characters to genuinely distinguish one from another. It isn't awful, it just isn't great.

  • The children,s train

This story is so disturbing and yet a wonderful account of what happened. I don,t think I would be able to return to Germany after the war. Thank you for telling the story.

  • Great Read

A really engrossing story that pulls at your heart while it whisks you along. A story of faith, hope and light set in a time of terror, darkness and despair. We'll written with believable characters and a solid plot line. Recommended.

  • The Horrors of War

Not a book to be enjoyed. Horrific details of what people went through during the 2nd WW. Especially the Jews. This is a work of fiction but based on the experiences and stories from survivors of those times. Everyone should read it so we can hope it never happens again. Although I fear even as we speak it is happening in parts of the world.
