    The choke

This book is an inside view of how harsh and brutal poverty is. Intensely captivating and deeply saddening this is a deep look at the lives of people seriously effected by war and poverty, domestic violence and lack of education.

    The Choke by Sophie Laguna

A beautifully written book that took me with the story on a painfully sad journey through the life of a neglected and disadvantaged girl. It kept me enthralled all the way to the end!

    The Choke

Heart breaking read about the struggles related to growing up in an impoverished, broken home. Great themes to discuss.
