  • The Churchill Factor

I had the misfortune to miss out on a historical education so I cannot make any comments in this area. I am a terrific fan of Boris and love everything he writes. He is always informative, extremely clever, and for me highly entertaining and immensely readable. He certainly made Churchill 'come alive' for me. If I can learn something about history while being entertained and stimulated then I'm very happy

  • Boris Wiston Johnson

Loved the book. Boris did a great job. For sure he identifies himself with Churchill. Maybe too much for the politician Johnson, but great for the author Boris.

  • A Different View

As someone who has read many books on Churchill this was refreshingly written. Rather than a chronological trip though his life this comes at from a different direction.. looking at different aspects and characterisations of his life. Further this book in Boris style.....you can hear his words as you read !

  • Churchill Factor

A very well researched and well written account of a great leader. Churchill's achievements extended far beyond his war time leadership. He was a man of vision for social service initiatives; he ws an inventor, an artist and a prolific writer. I loved the book!

I would never have thought that Boris Johnson can write such a great book. I must say it was a pleasure to read. Fantastic insight into the mind of the greatest politician of the last century , captivating, informative, accessible.
