What a great read! Don't miss it.

Can a new book about the Holocaust say anything different? This one can. It moves between eras - early 1930's to modern day - and between locations - Hungary, Israel and Australia - and fleshes out many interesting characters, all of whom are believable and contribute to the overall story (which is based, at least in part, on fact). Well written and a great read.

    Linking past with the present

I loved this story. Based on real events, the author moves from past to present to recount events and bring the past into present relevance using a believable character. The events also cross generations and cleverly cover how emotions change and how actions are viewed depending on the perspective of involvement. Those interested in WW11 tales, and especially those not well known, might enjoy this book.

    The Collaborator

Exciting to understand that this amazing novel is based on a chapter of true events. I could not put the book down. Well constructed and gripping. Thank you.

    The Collaborator

A thoroughly enjoyable read. The author uncovers an incredible story. When I was reading I kept wondering whether such a thing could ever have happened. Surely it must only be fiction. Yet... Having visited Israel more than once I felt the situation there was presented with authenticity. I also appreciated the occasional reflection especially the comments on the power of forgiveness. The plot works well and the characterisation is memorable.
