    A good summer read

I would have liked to rate this trilogy higher because I enjoyed the story and characters. But Christensen REALLY has to start following paragraphing conventions for dialog.

    Exodus

A great story told by an author I had not heard about before. Apocalyptic novels often focus on the most horrendous imaginings of the author. This author presents a carefully textured imagined history of the the few who escape and survive, often tenuously. I loved the influence of relativity on the spacefarers of different alliances. The personal stories are believable. Finally, I look forward to reading more about this expanded human universe, the new and the old.

    A Good Read

The premise of the story was believable and well told. The main characters were well developed as well. Some elements at times seemed too neat, too perfect, but it all hung together. In summary, it was a good yarn and I enjoyed it. A mix of space opera and the frontier spirit. Recommended.

    A fabulous read.

Loved, loved, loved this series! The books just got better as they went along. I was happy that a lot of the nitty, gritty detail was missed (how they build the craft, what they ate etc) was moved swifty along as, admittedly, I'm not the sort to enjoy being bogged down in immense detail. However I just loved the scope of the book and would happily read more if Mr Christensen would please continue! Tina is my new hero!
