  • A delicious read

Having read and loved the Moonburner series prior to this I had high hopes for The Confectioner Chronicles and I was not disappointed. Aside from the delightful notion of magic being infused in food these books are action packed and full of dyamic and nuanced characters. As a costumer, part of my enjoyment was also the descriptions of the world and imagining the clothes of these characters, which in my mind is a steampunk 50s retro mashup. It just seems to fit the sort of whimsy of this magic world. Needless to say, I found this series to be a delicious read on many levels, as it fed my love for fantasy and the creation of beautiful things. Give it a whirl and you might find yourself devouring it too.

  • The confectioner chronicles

I really enjoyed this series. Not too heavy on the romance or ridiculous with the magic. Just right. Friends, family, tragedy and triumph. Made my summer reading fun.

  • Ate it up

A great read. Characters build in a believable way, not just good or evil, but shades of grey. Sometimes they win, sometimes not. Makes a more realistic story.
