  • Action-packed new Canadian spy series

Lots of action in this book about Canadian intelligence agents who are called in to fix things when other agents’ operations go wrong. They are supposed to get in and get out without leaving a trace but it doesn't always work out that way. In this case, they are trying to retrieve a flash drive but others after are it as well. They don’t know what info is on it, so who is friend and who is foe? Do they really have a traitor in their midst? Lots of twists and turns and double crosses in a couple dangerous countries. You are clearly in lead agent Javin’s head as he puzzles through the clues and tries to figure out who he can trust and how to get them out alive. It's so great to have a series told from a Canadian perspective. Excellent start to a new series. Can't wait to find out more about Javin and Claudia.

  • Ethan Jones’s The Corrector

Explosive, electrifying, non-stop action which takes off quickly keeping an invigorating pace up to and including it’s dramatic conclusion. This keeps the reader on the edge of the seat throughout the entire book!! The intriguing action and adventure is anything but predictable especially in the world of espionage. The Canadian Intelligence Secret Service sends us along with well fleshed, well defined characters into situations of devious planning, fear, betrayal and courage. The Correctors are agents that carry out missions that others have failed. They are able to get in, accomplish their task then disappear without anyone ever realizing they were there. Not an easy, safe job? Javin Pierce and Claudia Aquarone are two CIS agents whose mission is to retrieve a highly sensitive USB flash drive. But they are not the only ones after this drive. Once you start reading, you will want to read to the final word. A Highly Recommended Read!!!

  • Thin characters, thin plot – hardly a page turner!

Not well written; not well edited. The characters are thin. The substance of this book depends on sometimes improbable plot episodes, rather than good character development. This is a first book, however I will not be purchasing any subsequent books from this author.

  • The Corrector

I thoroughly enjoyed this action spy book and am looking forward to reading more of Javin Pierce's adventures. The characters were well thought out and the action never stopped.

  • The Trouble with Correction - Two Wrongs might not

Javin and Claudia are tasked with a simple job. Retrieve a flash drive from a police station in Istanbul. In and out, leave no trace. But things never seem to go as planned. The two find themselves targets, plunging deeper into dangerous territory. Who has betrayed them. Will they succeed? Will they survive? Ethan Jones has a penchant for things that go wrong. His new Javin Pierce series begins with the same blockbuster action that Ethan is known for in his dramatic Justin Hall series. The new team certainly has skills but they will need a large portion of luck to overcome the danger and villains Mr. Jones throws at them. Even some of their allies can’t be trusted. And there seems to be a trail of bodies behind them wherever they go. Not exactly as clandestine as they would like.
