  • The Cuban Affair

Another great read from one of the great fictional authors of our time. The temptation to keep reading at the expense of other things is so enticing.

  • De Mille returns

If liked John Corey, meet Dan MacCormack. Wise cracking but articulate and wickedly witty, Dan undertakes a venture to Cuba with all the requisite characters. Great yarn to escape with.

  • A rollicking yarn with much to like in it.

I liked DeMille's early work but fell out of love with it along the way. This the first work of his I have read for years. He NAILED IT. A few 'with one bound and he was free' moments but a rollicking yarn over all with good characters, great humour and much excitement. Very enjoyable

  • Awful

This book is absolute drivel. It grinds on at a very slow pace going nowhere. I've reached chapter 21 and can't bear to pick the book up again. GROAN
