  • Readable

The central mystery - that of the princes in the tower - is the saving grace here: it is intriguing. But otherwise I find Inspector Alan Grant to be an arrogant, self-satisfied and generally annoying.

  • Daughter of TIme

Tbis is a boring silly book. It is a complete departure from all her other books.

  • The Daughter of Time

Not a traditional mystery - more a why-done-it of Plantagenet and early Tudor history. It's a short novel but a slow burn. An interest in British royal shenanigans is recommended.

  • RICHARD III WHODUNNIT

Thoroughly enjoyable story within a story. An injured detective is given the "case" of the princes in the tower to "solve" while recuperating in hospital.

  • Daughter of time

To enjoy this, the reader must already be conversant with English history.
