    The Deceiver

A brilliant and absorbing story that takes you into the dark world of an undercover representative of the secret service.

    Awesome read

Fast paced, riveting and typical Forsyth. Excellent read.

    Very good

Whilst it did slip in short stories masquerading as an overarching one, I was happy to forgive because they were once again, very good in that they romped along in a believable fashion which as usual, makes a Forsythe difficult to put down.

    Okay but not his best.

Not the best Frederick Forsyth I have read. Three short stories two of which are quite good. The last story was, I think, not up to the normal standard I expect.

    Vintage Forsyth

A lovely set of characters. A nice balance between tension and humour.
