  • It was a heartwarming book.

But either way, it was hard for me to follow the book, and who the characters were. But either way, this book can let you feel the emotion in every page. At least if you let it.

  • Diary of Anne Frank

A remarkable account by a young teen age girl who writes about her thoughts and happenings while in hiding with her family and a few others during the persecution of the Jews by the Nazis in Amsterdam and Europe.

  • Such a powerful read

This diary follows the life of Anne Frank while she was hiding from the Nazis during World War II. She was in hiding for over two years with her sister, parents and 4 other individuals. I found it very emotionally difficult to read this diary. To read her most intimate thoughts while she was going through that unfathomable hardship was incredibly humbling. Anne was wise beyond, a beautiful educated soul who managed to figure out who she was, who she wanted to be and how she was going to attain those goals. Where so many people in her situation would of crumbled or gone quite literally insane, Anne often made light of her situation. Reading this book in the midst of a global pandemic definitely puts things into perspective. How easy is our confinement compared to this poor girl's life for over 2 years. How petty and superfluous my woes now seem! I should've read this sooner!

    Thanks for your feedback!
