  • Good interesting story

I enjoyed the quirky characters in the story and read each new book following their lives ,each book is different.

  • Read the book in wrong sequence

A truly intriguing book goes from one decade to another. Sadly I've read this book first which turns out to be the last in the series of the Stella Darnell books, which is why I found it hard to follow at times. Saying that I couldn't put t down. I can't wait to read the 1st book in the series and get t know more about Jack and Stella

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Many misleading assumptions that need sorting

I still have misgivings about Jack and Stella opening a detective agency (as I have stated in other reviews) and I'm not entirely sure they trust each other - even though they say they do, their actions indicate otherwise. Perhaps they need to include Stanley in the agency. Going to the plot of this book, it is interesting how many of the witnesses didn't realize what they actually witnessed and gave the police their assumptions leading to wild suspect chases with no one identified as the culprit. Leave it to Jack and Stella (mostly) asking questions 10 years later to sort this out. I miss seeing Jack driving a train (although that was generally a minor part in the other books).

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Okay

I have read several other books in this series and find they are becoming repetitive now.
