  • The Duke of Danby

Aaahhh, the Duke of Danby is at it again and not everyone is happy about it. A Very Merry Viscount by Jane Charles Lady Tabitha Storm does not want a match made by her great uncle, the Duke of Danby, The only match she wants is the one to a man she lost her heart to, a man she doesn’t even know. Andrew Delaney, Viscount Straffan, has wanted the land and horses the Duke of Danby holds. Said duke finally agrees to discuss the matter on certain conditions…1) they must meet at the duke’s manor at Christmas time; and 2) Andrew complete a task set forth by the duke. Will Tabitha love her uncle or will she be disappointed for the plans he has for her? Will Andrew come away with just what he covets or will he come away with more than he bargained for? Anytime you have the Duke of Danby arranging marriages you can be certain you’ll be entertained. Add in the talented Jane Charles’ writing and any of the Storm family and you are guaranteed a hit. Visiting the Storm family is like visiting old friends…wonderful! One Wicked Christmas by Amanda Mariel A child she never planned but loves none the less, a child he never knew he had, and the Duke of Danby make for a highly entertaining story by Amanda Mariel. A Christmas Betrothal by Lily George She wants stability, he wants a quiet, practical mother for his daughter. A perfect match? Not according to the Duke of Danby. Can they convince him otherwise or is this part of his plan?
