  • Astounding!

What a story! I thoroughly enjoyed “The Extractor”. It kept me at the edge of my seat. I was stunned by the ending. The author knows how to write an exceptionally good story. I could not put it down and I am impatiently waiting for the next book. I give it 5 stars which are well deserved. I would recommend this novel to anyone who likes spy stories.

  • Explosive and Enthralling!

“This isn’t about conscience; it’s about survival.” A hard to put down book! What a beginning! Starting in full gear from page one, to the last one, The Extractor-Jack Storm-is from the same universe of Justin Hall series. A non-stop, vertiginous layout, the plot thickens wildly, the explosive situation gets more and more riddled. A realistic reminder of the world we live in. It’s gripping and dark sometimes, with an action packed and intriguing storyline, a great villain and an antihero dealing with his own personal problems and a kind of vendetta related to the dangers the protagonist has to go through, a real life drama of an agent with a family. An engaging and poignant story, thought provoking, it carries within an emotional and compelling character development, suspense and cutting edge scenes that seem to spiral out of control, with a wonderful world building. The story left me with a desire to know more about the world, and what happens next to our hero. A promising and exciting start to a new fantastic series, as all Ethan Jones’s books. Can’t wait to read what the author comes up with next!

  • Fast-paced and Action Filled

What happens with someone is put into dangerous situations, but has nothing to lose? They take some chances they might not normally, but they still want to get the job done. That's what happens in this excellent, fast-paced read as Jack Storm is sent to rescue an agency asset before harm can come to them. Jack is met with betrayal where he least expects it, but still works hard to resolve the issue and save a life well-worth saving. The first in the series, and I hope there are many more. Highly recommend this to you!!!

  • Great Ethan Jones writing!

This is a fast pace, page turner thriller with a nothing to loose protagonist that will never quit to get his mission done. Great Ethan Jones writing. I loved the characters and the way the story unfolds. If you like Brad Taylor or Brad Thor's books, you won't be deceived. Also take a look at Ethan other series Justin Hall and Carrie O'Connor, they are so much fun to read.

  • New series - new protagonist. Good stuff

A fast-paced action story. Jack Storm is a talented extractor (for rescuing operatives from difficult situations) but he is suffering personal loss. He is called back into service for a difficult mission - but is he ready? Add a new young partner and the odds would seem to be stacked against success... First in a new series featuring Canadian agents. Worth a look - especially if the author is known to you (but you probably don't need that recommendation if that is the case).
