"The Eye of the Sheep" Sofie Laguna

Wow! What a very special perspective on life, the way things work, the multi levels of existence, the way people and things are linked. I found the meshing of the complex and the simple compelling. A very interesting and sad and yet uplifting story that so many people would be able to relate to and yet probably prefer not to dwell upon. Jimmy is my hero.

    Solid and dreamlike

Earthy, hard love in the forgotten worlds of the broken and mute. Australian modern classic from the salty darkness.

Amazing journey with a boy, looking out ,through his perception,at the chaos of ordinary, stricken folk.

    Beautifully written

A very sad and moving story told very cleverly from the tearless eyes of jim. Highly recommended read.
