  • The final curtsey

Enjoyed this book, getting to know the human side of a family that we usually only witness the pomp and pagency. Being from a common wealth country, i feel that queen elizabeth has taken her duities seriously, and it will be a sd day when she no longer reighns

  • The Final Coutsey by Margaret Rhodes

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book which gives the reader insight as to life in the British Royal family by a close family member, the Queen's Cousin. She recalls many interesting happenings in the life of the Royal family and her own life and amazing adventures. She recalls her time as lady - in - waitng to Queen Elizabeth, the Queen mother and the reader gets a good idee of what the Queen Mother was like as a person.

  • Can't Get Much Closer to the Royal

Family than this. Specifically to Queen ELizabeth (the Queen Mum) and Queen Elizabeth the 2nd who is the author's (Margaret Rhodes) 1st cousin, and they were much the same age, and she and Elizabeth and Margaret spent most of their young lives growing up together. It's a very cozy read. Get yourself a cup of tea (or two or three) and enjoy!
