  • A true fiasco

From one who descended from a prominent racing family from early last century I found this account of the seedy dodgy side of racing astounding yet hilariously entertaining. There is people in the racing game who are in it for the love of horses and all it entails competing honestly but equally there are those dodgy dishonest ones who bring the racing game into disrepute. How do I know...lets just say my scrupulously honest mother once revealed to us some of the family skeletons we aren't too proud of. This book depicts how much deeper and more seedy it can be than dear old Mum's tales.

    Thanks for your feedback!
