Please read review as words are hard to come up wi

4.5 STARS Ok I don't really know where to start with this review or even where to begin so try to bear with me as I find some words. I am not going to tell you about any part of the actual storyline because I think the blurb is very telling and if you are interested in the book after reading this review then you will go and get a copy for yourself and you will tell all your friends about it too. So here we go... First of this book is so full of angst I could not believe it. I am use to reading some heavy angsty books but I had to walk away from this book once to sort myself out before I could continue on. Why? Because Sam in particular frustrated me when he was making stupid decisions and more importantly I knew him and Meredith needed to be together but it was frustrating to watch them get there. This book is not only angsty but add the layer of emotions and I was heartbroken utter sobs, at times it was depressing but that is because their pasts and what they dealt with is sad but the author tells this with a tenderness that you can just feel as you read through it. This story is told in different points of views both in the present and the past along with self monologue at times that just crushed me it was hard to read. I absolutely loved this book, I thought the author's writing was fantastic and I thought these characters were in a league of their own. This has to be one of my top 5 this year and I would recommend this book to everyone and I will tell you all about it if you ask me. It is important to mention that there are some triggers for some and be aware but this author like I said earlier dealt with them in a very delicate and careful way. I received and ARC and this is my honest review for Rockstar Book Muse.

    Emotional read

This was my first book by Len webster and I was certainly impressed by her writing. The title was different from most and the cover made me look twice, always a good sign, I feel. It held true for this book. It was brimful of love and angsty feelings, pulling the emotions out of the reader. I was captivated by it until the end, which came way too soon. Meredith first met Sam in high school and they quickly connected in a sweet young love, but as often happens, real life interfered. I got caught up in the heartbreak of their story and truly feel in love with both characters although there were times I felt more than a little annoyed with their actions. Will they find the happiness they deserve or lose it all? Find out now, and grab your copy of First Touch of Sunlight today.
