  • The Ginger Tree

Enjoyed this book immensely. Its written as if you re reading a diary. It starts in 1903 and ends in 1941 after the bombing of Pearl Harbour. It tells the story of a young woman who travels to China to marry her fiance who s in the army. She eventually ends up in Japan, where she lives for almost 40 years. Because of what happened many years before, her family in Scotland does not wish to have anything to do with her. A good read!

    Thanks for your feedback!
