    Enjoyable story

Thos was enjoyable, although I failed to like or associate with any of the characters. The story was gripping, and I did want to finish the book.

    Pretentious unedited

What a shame that a talented writer could persuade anyone that a stream of consciousness uninterrupted jump from one scene to another in mid-paragraph is a substitute for structure. It is meant to be an enjoyable experience for the reader, as opposed to an irritant.
