  • Great story but disappointed

Although this is a great story I was disappointed that an author with a good command of the English language would use gutter language throughout the book especially using the F word. Not everyone in tragic circumstances uses language like this. For this reason, I would not recommend it.

  • War is hell on earth

Charlotte/Lisa goes through this journey of life during the war that seems impossible to bare but this exceptional young girl shows us all and gives us hope for her future when she perseveres by helping others and that, in the end, helps herself in ways she never saw coming. Amazing and intriguing.

  • Dull and long

This book is more about the raids, than about the girl with no name it seems at times. If you're not interested in reading about the war itself, this book isn't for you.

  • The girl with no name

I couldn’t put it down. I had to from time to time because of life, but I would sneak back as soon as possible. I did enjoy it and I liked her style of writing. Some of it was a bit slow but overall I did enjoy. I am looking forward to a couple of her other books.
