  • The gordian protocol

Time travel has always ingtrigued me, but, the paradoxes boggle my mind, and even this time version did not, completely, put humpty back on his wall. This was great read.

  • Action-packed

“The Gordian Protocol” is a time-travel adventure in which two people from the 21st century and one person plus one AI from the 30th century must work together to prevent the destruction of the universe. The first couple chapters seemed a little slow to me, so it took me longer to get into the book than I had expected for a product of Jacob Holo and David Weber. Once I got past the set-up, though, the story took off and I was hooked. I was a bit confused that the story was billed as being about Benjamin Schroder when, after the first few chapters, he stopped showing up. Almost halfway through the book he reappeared, though, and then he was definitely a central character! The story is loaded with action and suspense. It also has a bit of gory detail sometimes that I could live without, but overall, I enjoyed the book immensely. I received a free advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
