  • Ripper book

Having read the Jack Reacher series I was looking for something to fill the gaps now That I have cought up and the Travis McGee series is just the right thing. This is the eighteenth in the series and as I prefer to read from the start of a series it is the eighteenth one I have read. It is a continuing story of Travis MacGee's life and has references to events from previous books but would not be spoiled read as a stand alone book. I recommend the series to all who like me don't want hard reading, nor a hero who never gets through without picking up a scar or two.

  • The green ripper

Like all John D Macdonald Travis Mcgee books , this is a great read . I have read the whole series ( 21 books ) twice and still discover new bits that I previously missed. Very much like reading Lee Child's " Reacher " series. Highly recommend !
