    Never give up

Anh Do's story is one of courage , love and joy. The book is an inspiration to us on how to approach life. From the nightmare of communist Vietnam, the high seas, then the strange new land, Anh and his family go though hardships with courage and never give up. We can be thankful our numbers are bolstered by people of his ilk. And he is funny too. I thoroughly recommend this book to lift your spirits.

This book is truly remarkable! It blends humour with true grit and Ahn Do shows himself to be not just a funny or talented man but gifted storyteller with a story that NEEDS to be heard! Forget the citizenship test all current citizens and new arrivals to Aus should read this!
