  • Gripping!

Another amazing book featuring Erica & Patrik! This book was so compelling I couldn't put it down & read it over one wet weekend! Once again Camilla Lackberg has written a psychological thriller that keeps you guessing until the very end. Whilst I regretted finishing Book 9 the way has been left clear for Book 10! Can't wait...

  • Another page-turner

I could never be really objective about Camilla Lackberg's work, because I'm a real fan. It's a real skill to develop a formula like the Hedstrom / Falck stories and keep the reader engaged with the cast, but she manages to weave complex and, occasionally, very dark storylines for her characters that keep a reader glued to the plot. Henning Mankell began my interest in Swedish authors and Camilla Lackberg and Asa Larsson fill the void left by his death. I hope she continues to conjure up these great tales and I look forward to visiting this part of Sweden one day.

  • The Ice Child

I haven't read a Blackburn book for several years. I enjoyed this one despite the many red herrings. No wonder the Swedes eat so much of them. Great dialogues between the characters and good insights into Swedish life. Good cliff hanger conclusion. Very enjoyable. (Why does this spell prompter keep changing the author's name???)

    Thanks for your feedback!
