  • Read the Trilogy, it is short but a cracker!

I have left off writing a review until I had completed the Trilogy, just in case I put anything to disclose what was about to happen. I am pleased to say that in my opinion, Richard Woodman is up there with the best when it comes to this genre, anybody who has read about the exploits of 'Hornblower'; 'Aubrey and Maturin'; 'Alan Lewrie'; and 'Kydd' but to name a view and have not read the first two 'Kit Faulkner' tales needs to start from the beginning with 'A Ship for the King'. I know that I will now be looking to start at the beginning of the 'Nathaniel Drinkwater' series.

    Thanks for your feedback!
