    Not the best

I normally devour Gregory's books but not this one. I just wanted to finish it quick. I appreciate the thought behind telling a womans story in those violent uncertain time but I honestly found Lady Pole a vapid selfish person in this book. Probably typical of the aristos of the time but personally I thought she could have been a bit smarter about her decisions.

    Huge Thumbs up

I started off thinking this was the same oldPhilippa Gregory kind of story, just rehashed with a different character. It's not! this is the best of hers I have ever read, it gets a huge thumbs up. It was difficult to put down.

    Good read

Fantastic book for all Gregory fans, even though it comes before her older books it ties in perfectly.

    The Kings Curse

A very moving and gripping account of Tudor England and Henry VIII, Cromwell and all at Court or confined to the Tower on charges of Treason, resulting in paying the ultimate price of death as dictated for traitors, or beheading if of noble birth
