  • The Lady by His Side by Stephanie Laurens

Yay! It's been a long time, but Sebastian Cynster and finally grown up and is ready to choose a bride! It was quite a shock to realize in the book's world that Devil Cynster is in his early 60's and his oldest child is 31 and following in his father's footsteps. Sebastian occasionally works for Drake, the Duke of Wolverston's son, and the Home Office. He is asked to got to a house party to receive information about a possible Anglo-Irish plot. As his cover, he asks family friend Lady Antonia Rawlings if he may accompany her as she has already been invited. She agrees and off they go. Soon intrigue and murder also arrive and they are both thrown into a mystery that will challenge them both. It will also challenge their feelings toward each other as they move forward in their understanding of each other as well. Thank you Stephanie for such a wonderful continuation of the Cynster Family series!

  • Good title for this tale.

I enjoyed reading about Sebastian because I keep going back to read his parents' love story in Devil's Bride. It was like catching up on the news of family friends and old acquaintances, while busy solving house party murders.

  • The Lady by his Side.

The first in a trilogy. The second time oif reading. It loses nothing of its ability to draw one along as if actually there and taking part in the adventure. I have nothing but praise for anything Stephanie Laurens writes and the minute I see something with her name on it, I must own it!!

    Thanks for your feedback!
