  • Engrossing read

Love how Steve Berry tells a story, engrossing and fast paced could easily have been expanded to a full length novel

  • Description

This story is so well described. The cities, the region, mountains, lakes etc. It is as if I were there in real life. The history and religious material is so unique. I love Steve Barry's books because of all the real history and geography mixed with the fiction.

  • Lake of learning

Enjoyed but was disappointed in the ending. Felt it was unfinished would like resolution as to what would happen to the manuscript.

  • Interesting characters, fascinating history

I enjoyed this well written book with interesting characters and fascinating historical details. It was like taking a return trip to southern France.

  • The Lake of Learning

A fascinating story about an old destroyed religion. Thoroughly enjoyable as well as being sad to think of the people who were sacrificed through ignorance
