  • Best historical Anne Boleyn

This author makes reading history fun and fact filled. Her knowledge of the time period made me feel like I was a part of the story. I enjoyed every detail.

  • Great title

The story was good, and the background events were accurate. A good light entertaining read. Such a time of turmoil and not a great time to be a woman. Loved the symbolism of the chess piece.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • A great read

I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys historical fiction. Karen Harper paints a vivid picture of the role of the Boleyn family in the court of Henry VIII. I had to force myself to put it down and turn off my light many nights.

  • Loved it!

This book delved more into the back story and the story between Mary and Staff than Philippa Gregory's did. I liked both but this book is more my fav.
