  • A valiant attempt which fwll short.

Ordinary with a somewhat confusing storyline saved by the author's writing skills. 4.5 out of 10. Did not really enjoy as it became boringly predictive. ( eg: return of the Australian boyfriend from nowhere and the actions of the Housekeeper resulting in execution of Anne. No, would not recommend.

  • An easy read with an unexpected ending.

I really enjoyed the two centuries running side by side. The unexpected endings stopped it being predictable. A great read.

  • The Last Train

A good read, two stories - past and present, it kept me interested to the end

  • What a great read.

A mystery from history using a real event as the setting. Not your usual procedural but still extremely intriguing. Gets you hooked working out the link between modern day and past events.
