  • Excellent Australian Outback Story

Loved the characters, could really feel the heart of the Australian outback in this novel. The way Grayson and Maggie's characters developed along with the realistic settings was very heart warming. Great read.

  • A slice of life from the Australian Outback

An interesting slice of life from the Australian Outback, this novel portrays the people, lifestyle, and beauty in an otherwise barren part of Australia. In a community dependent on one another, Maggie finds fulfillment and friendship to partially plug the hole her hollow marriage has created. Married to a man she doesn't love leaves Maggie ripe for the picking when Grayson arrives on the scene, but in spite of their strong attraction for one another, they stick to the rules and stay within the boundaries of marriage. I was impressed with the author's descriptions of Outback life, the hardships, and harshness of the landscape, whilst finding the beauty in hidden places. I was happy to find that in spite of the obvious attraction between Maggie and Grayson, that they did not descend into a sordid affair. I enjoyed this well-written novel and am so glad that it came to a successful conclusion. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
