  • The Boston Tea Party comes to The Long Earth

This continuation of The Long Earth Is how to fight a war without blood shed. It also hints at why the War of Independence was fought, because of arrogance of some military officers.

  • $22 CDN is way way too much for a digital book, particularly if it's as short as the last one. Shame on Random House for trying to bilk their customers... I'm getting my copy from the library or waiting until they give it a reasonable price.

  • Entertaining if a little misleading

The title seems to imply some kind of conflict, which never eventuates, disappointingly for those wanting some kind of Xeelee style wizardry. Although ray guns make an appearance, they don't actually fire. Still, a worthy sequel, and continues to explore the fascination of infinite parallel earths.

  • Way overpriced!

$31 for an ebook is insane... I just saw this book for less in hardcover, and its half this price for the kindle edition. Shame on kobo!
