  • Quirky and Fun

A quirky cast of characters enhance the gentle humour embodied in this tale. Many good life lessons along the way. It made for excellent reading and an invitation to self-analysis. Is my God too small? How does limitingHim place limits on my life? I loved it.

  • Laughing through tears

Hotel for sinners for sure. This is no group of perfectly groomed ladies doing lunch but real saints who are still under construction. Some have hard lessons to learn but the author will have you laughing both with and at certain characters.

  • A humorous peek into what some churches resemble!

The story kept moving. It had many laugh-out-loud moments, as well as thought-provoking situations, and a few sad moments. The author has a casual way of telling a delightful story. Anyone who attends any church could relate to the various characters. You give thought about whom you may like (or not) to be seen as!

  • Second Read as Good as the First

I love this book. Read it originally four or five years ago and fancied a re-run. The description of the Sunday School pupil's Christmas concert had me almost hysterical with laughter. Very life-like characters - who doesn't know someone like Lenore, Vera or Kay?
