  • American apocalypse

A fascinating version of the collapse of the USA via political and economic degradation and predation. All frighteningly plausible. The only disappointment was the avoidance of the role that climate change will play in that inevitable outcome. Schriver missed an opportunity in minimising the disastrous impact of CC but the outcome is too horrendous to incorporate into a story that has an ultimately positive ending.

  • Pakkend verhaal

met prachtige woordkeuzes wordt je meegesleept in een wereld die opeens zo reeel overkomt, dat het geen fictie lijkt. Historie vermengt zich met de toekomst. Echt een goed boek.

  • DystopianDelight

Lionel Shrivner dares to delve into a future where money has no meaning and the previously wealthy extended family, the Mandables, face a future where their previous prevledge has lost its clout. This dystopian saga will entertain and disturb as the systems that hold our tenuous society together crumble.
