  • What's in a name?

As always a thoroughly enjoyable story: the Adairs and Inspector Stokes work towards solving another mystery, this time perhaps more serious than some of their other cases because it involves murder. The two main characters, Constance and Alaric, work together well and, as this is a Stephanie Laurens book, the outcome can be predicted but how it is achieved is not at all predictable. I hope we will see Percy getting his own book - the secrets revealed in this one almost require him to have a happy ending.

  • Great Read

These novels have great plots & wonderful characters. With each novel you get to see the growth of the recurring characters which adds depth to the story. I love these books & I am looking forward to the next one. If you like mysteries & Who Done It novels, this series is for you.

  • Death at Mandeville

Anything with Stokes and Barnaby and Penelope Adair is a must read. The story is a well written and intriguing mystery. You know it will be solved but still hold your breath til it is.
