  • Best in series

This entry in the series is the easiest to read, rich in character development, intriguing in plot and effective in description. In a way, it's like the subtle touches of Cezanne, who is the focus in many ways of this book, have found their way onto the page. The ending is a little quick and handy, but that's only a minor quibble. I've traveled throughout the area around Aix that's in the book and the author does an admirable job of capturing its unique beauty. A good read.

    Thanks for your feedback!
