    Good read

Captive reading. Worldwind of tragic events with the hope of Layla and Quin being a mated pair. Looking forward to the end of Argo.

    Mystic series

I read the Earth Angels series first. This seems to be an earlier version of the first 4 books. I didn't like the characters in this version. I loved Earth Angels. I won't go further in this version.

Fantastic story, a lot of 'romance'

I loved the story, and the fantasy world that was created by Burgess. The characters are well rounded and the plot is suspenseful. The only times I wanted to put the book down was during the 'romantic' scenes between the leading lady and her beau. I found the declarations of love to be repetitive and eventually redundant. But I loved the actual story so much I just found myself skipping these pages! Can't wait to see how the story ends.

    The Mystic Series

This has got to be one of the worst books that I have ever read. The plot moves incredibly S L O W L Y as the heroine has one trivial emotional experience after another. She also should be called the Eveready Bunny as she "takes a licking but keeps on ticking", as she constantly takes a huge amount of physical damage including broken bones, dislocated limbs, hemorages and in one case a punctured lung. This is definitely NOT a book I would recommend to anyone.
