2nd excellent book, great series do far!

Another solid story with an excellent storyline. Again well written with attention to detail where it's needed. Another joy to read with a brilliant main character. I look forward to further books in the series. Happy days!

    The Opal

I loved the first book in this series - The Dig. I couldn't put it down so I was anxious to begin The Opal. I must say The Opal was a major disappointment. This was an action book with lots of gunplay and to many story lines. I found myself skimming most of the book because the descriptions of who was shooting at whom from where was boring. I ended up not finishing the book because it just got to chaotic and there really wasn't an interesting story line.

    Opal

Great series of books. Matthew Turner is a good character, but not too good. Keeps you wanting more!

    the Opal

Nowhere as good as Dig. I bought this after reading the first novel in the series Dig, which was 5* with original ideas, but this is really poor.

    The Opal

It's a good action/drama story. I kept turning the page because I had to know what was going to happen next and how was he going to get out of this predicament. Would have liked to know what the motivation was behind the characters actions.
