  • The Orphans tale.

I enjoyed the story, sometimes a bit slow but over all was good. Sad when you think it probably happened even worse in real life. Would try another book by same auther.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • A really good read from the start

A lovely read from perspective of two main characters. You get a feel of circus life during the war the struggles and the feeling of 'family.'

  • The Orphan's Tale

Really enjoyed this book - a different setting to most WW2 stories. Kept me guessing and surprise outcome. A lot of sadness but also a lot of strength in the characters.

  • Over all it was enjoyable.

I enjoyed the story because it was based on true happenings even though it wasn't a true story. I like the authors style of writing with the thoughts of each main person in the story.

  • The Orphan's Tale

A gripping story, very well written. The terror of the time in which it is set is well researched and well written. Circus life is well portrayed. I will read more by this author.
