  • Poor Science

Not for me. I would put it in the junk science category. The 5 brain types is just MUS (made up stuff) akin to there being 2 types of people - those who think that and those that don't. It is a very one dimensional view of autism that would lead you to believe that Greta Thunberg has no empathy and Donald Trump has plenty. I thought these ideas were debunked years ago. There are many facets that make up human brains, both autistic and NT. Autists would generally have difficulty with too much empathy - ie overload, rather than too little. The questionnaire that the results are derived from is rather nonsensical. If the questions were biased against NTs instead you would have a very different result. Perhaps something like " I can tune into how an autistic person feels" or "people say I am insensitive to autistic people". Can't recommend it for autists. Can't recommend it for NTs to better understand autists.

    Thanks for your feedback!
