  • The peripheral

Took a lot of getting into. Only for Sci fi time travel devotees. Forcing us to write reviews does not help authors or readers

  • A bore

Too many invented words that made the story largely incomprehensible. I was thoroughly bored and did not finish it. Very disappointed. Previous books had plot and character development to leaven the text. Not this time. Seems to be a triumph of word invention over story-telling.

  • Good but confusing in parts

Good book with good underlying concept. Takes some following sometimes though, needed to flip back to identify characters from time to time.

  • First class read!

A dazzling read. So many cool ideas. If you loved the last Gibson trilogy you will likely love this too.

  • The Peripheral

Got to love William Gibson - telepresence, alternate realities and so on. There are a few loose ends, but a very enjoyable read anyway.
