  • Excitement drama and intrigue

I’m totally loving this series! Filled with so much excitement, drama, humor and intrigue, once I began I couldn’t stop. Gemma was so different from Keeley and yet I loved her every bit as much as I did Keeley. I actually appreciated the differences between them and that this was not a replica of book one but was totally original in every way. Yet both of these characters are tough heroines as in they know how to kick tail and never look back. Quinn intrigued me from the beginning. I learned to love him more as he proved to be the perfect sidekick for Gemma. The romance takes a far back seat and to be honest, this really isn’t romance at all in my opinion. The smexy times are kinda tossed in there but it really didn’t bother me. Everything else is so entertaining and engaging that I probably wouldn’t have missed it. This book introduces a lot of new characters that I suspect we’ll be seeing plenty more of as it lays out a foundation for the series to be built upon. I’m curious to see exactly what is going to happen in future installments and how many books there will be until a resolution is found. I laughed my way through so many of the conflicts and found myself getting excited when certain characters were thrown into a scene together because I knew it was going to be good...and it was, every time. And now to hurry up and wait for the next book.

  • Rated 4.5 Stars

I don't know how she does it but this author's books are consistently funny. I laugh for solid minutes at a time. I can't recommend her books enough. The Princess Knight was absolutely phenomenal. I loved it. It was funny, witty, banter filled, action packed, highly entertaining and so much more. I adored the characters and can't wait for more in this especially after the way it ended. I very highly recommend this book and series.

  • Kriegszorn is Awesome!

I really enjoyed this whole book! This is the second book in the series and while you still get updates on the other characters, including the introduction of Ainsley who I think the third book is going to be about, this one is mostly about Gemma and the War Monks. Gemma is a cool character (though I must admit that I like Keeley better, Gemma is a little stubbornly annoying at times). This time they are protecting the other orders and religious sects from Cyrus who is slaughtering them all in the name of his one god. There are battles and fights galore and Gemma gets to meet up with her most loyal horse that she had lost. Kriegszorn is so totally awesome and I hope she gets lots more action in the next books! This book is mostly about action and is light on the romance, but that is okay. The bit of romance there is, is cute. This was great fun and I cannot wait till the next one arrives!

  • Loved it!

G.A. Aiken (aka Shelly Laurenston) is such a fantastic author! I love her characters - and the storyline just kept me entertained from beginning to end. I’ve re-read her series a few times, and enjoyed myself every time. My only regret is now I have to wait for the next book!
