  • Fantastic

This book was great. I couldn't put it down. It's set in London. They words used to describe what was happening and people's feelings had me gripped.

  • 4.25⭐

The Protector was an enjoyable story that easily had me turning the pages even though I found the pacing to be a little on the slow side. Yet, I genuinely enjoyed the romance that developed and I truly liked Jake, who was the epitomisation of a tortured hero, but frankly, I wish Ms Malpas had played on that more. But, saying that, there was a nice amount of angst, plenty of heat and a touch of suspense. And all in all I found it to be a very satisfying read and introduction to an author I've heard many good things about. Would happily recommend.

    Thanks for your feedback!
