  • The Queen's Colonial

A new series from thid acclaimed author. If book one is anything to go by, this is going to be as good as his previous seruues. This onr is about an officer in Queen Victorias Army who is not who he seems to be. Great descriptions of one of the first examples of modern style warfare with all its horrors. Our hero fights bravely despite the challenges in his personal life and the book ends with him emvarking on his next adventure in Queen Victoria's name. A great read.

  • The Queens Colonial

A brilliant read. I love the fact that you mix history so well into fiction. You have given us another couple of characters to hate until they reach their ultimate demise. I’m looking forward to the series so much, don’t leave too long between books.

  • Better than ever

If you pick up a book and see the name “Peter Watt” you can be assured it’s a good read. Peter is I believe the best Australian author of all times. I have now read all of his books and they just keep getting better. The Queens Colonial is no exception, in fact I think it is his best to date. Do not hesitate to read this book, in fact if you have not read any of Peters books before, start at the beginning , with Cry of the Curlew and the see if you can stop there, I bet you can’t!
