  • Great MM Historical Romance!

The Queer Principles of Kit Webb was an entertaining enemies to lovers MM historical romance. There were great discussions about class and privilege and I really enjoyed the character arcs of both Kit and Percy. It was a slow burn between them and I loved how their disdain transformed into more as they began to get to know each other better. My heart hurt for all that Kit experienced and lost, but I loved how he didn't deny his feelings or let them stop him from finding happiness. The intimate scenes were scorching hot between Kit and Percy and I appreciated how raw and honest they were. The ending was such a great way for our characters to both show their growth and move forward. I enjoyed Cat Sebastian's writing a lot, but the pacing was a bit slow at times and I'm hoping that a few of the loose ends will be addressed in future books. The narration by Joel Leslie was excellent! I especially loved the gruffness he gave to Kit's voice and how gentle and emotional it was for the more tender scenes. The accents and contrast between characters was perfect. I appreciated how unique they all were so that there was no confusion as to who was speaking. The "enthusiasm" during the intimate scenes had me fanning myself. *bites fist* This was a truly wonderful audiobook! • Enjoyed Every Minute!

I’ve never read a Cat Sebastian that I didn’t love, and I enjoyed every single minute of Kit Webb. Ms. Sebastian’s characters are always beautifully unique, and Kit and Percy are two of a kind. Fascinating backstories for each character are gradually revealed, and held my attention from the very first page. Exciting and romantic, funny and creative, The Principles of Kit Webb is a satisfying hurt/comfort, opposites attract romance.

  • Cured My Reading Slump

I received an ARC of this book to read through Edelweiss+. All opinions are my own. The Queer Principles of Kitt Webb is a M/M friends-to-lovers romance that was simply a delight to read. Kitt Webb is at a turning point in his life, his career as a highwayman has ended because of a leg injury. He has his coffeehouse to run, but he’s not sure that that is what he wants to do with the rest of his life as he misses the excitement of his previous career. Edward Percy Talbot, Lord Holland is being blackmailed, and if the information the blackmailer has is made public, he stands to lose everything that he thought was his birthright. When Percy tries to hire Kitt to obtain the book that was his mother’s most prized possession, these two opposites discover that they have more in common than one would think, and their friendship grows to something more. The book is by turns heartwarming, funny, adventurous, with twists and turns to keep your attention until the very last page. I loved that these two curmudgeonly heroes find the sunshine in each other and highly recommend this book. Steam Level: Medium. Publishing Date: June 8. 2021. #Avon Romance #HarperCollinsCanada #MMRomance #HistoricalRomance #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #TheQueerPrinciplesOfKittWebb #CatSebastian
