  • "The Reason I Jump - one boy's ....

....... voice from the silence of autism". Catching up on a few unread books, I started eith this book written by a 13 year old boy with autism. Incredibly it shows from his perspective - by answering a series of questions (often posed to him by "normal" people). Simply put, the book is at the same time, sad, uplifting and funny in the way he reveals the world of his autism but most suprisingly also how he feels and cares about those around him. He also had me thinking about a few things I often ignore or at least don't spend enough time on ...... funny that. Highly recomended reading!

  • Amazing book

So helpful in understanding what it must be like to have autism, and how what other people say can affect a autistic child. Amazing book.

  • Compulsory reading for humans!

This is a stunning view into the world of autism, written from the inside. As you might expect it sheds a great deal of light on world of autism, and what people with autism experience. But much more than that, it opens a whole new view on what it means to be human - we should all read it.
