  • Wow!!! Macalister Hale stole my heart!!

Macalister Hale spent three books being the devil in plain sight, the man everyone loved to hate. The irredeemable manipulator of people’s thoughts and feelings. He was the quintessential bad man with no regard for how his wants affect those around him. Including his own sons. The trilogy came to a close with all seemingly lost for this most ruthless of men. It was a fabulous series, one that I read with baited breath. It pales in significance to this single, stand-alone companion. The Redemption isn’t simply a title, it’s a beautifully written, skillfully crafted trip into the mind of this man. He’s deep, he’s dark… he’s gorgeous and sinfully, broodingly sexy. He’s also the oldest HOT guy ever to grace the cover and star in a story like this. He’s everything you can imagine and a whole lot more, as Sophia Alby discovers. Sophia is no shrinking violet, she’s a straight-shooting, strong-willed independent woman. She has an agenda and a plan. One that she needs Macalister’s help with. He balks at first, but Sophia knows how to get her way. These two were combustible from the outset. It was a battle of wills and the pages were filled with sassy banter and a ton of dirty talk. Passionate and intense, this was a story of a man finding himself, and the woman he truly loves. Macalister Hale is The Redemption. One-Click this amazing story today and be prepared to see him in a new wondrous light.

  • Alpha Male Meets Determined Female

Macalister Hale has always been the epitome of control and success. A formidable man who never lets anything get in his way. Unfortunately, the death of his wife puts him on a path he had never expected. He is on a mission forced to rebuild his reputation and standing in society while fending off old adversaries. The last thing he needs is a distraction, and Sophia Albys is most definitely that. Nor does he want her help. And most of all, she is far to young to be evoking these feelings in him. A formidable ally when Sophia Albys sets her mind to it she is single-minded in her mission determined to make things happen. She has a knack of reading people and enabling them to confined in her. This ability in the high stakes business world makes her an invaluable asset and a fierce opponent Can Macalister set aside his reservations to rise again with Sophia fighting at his side? And how will he handle his growing feelings for this independent woman? EXPERT "Why do you have that?" I demanded. She paused, and her gaze darted to moth Marist and Royce. "Aren't we shooting skeet today?" "Only the men", I said. " The women don't." "Why?" She blinked. "Afraid they'll beat you?" Marist made a sound like she'd strangled back a chuckle, but my tone patronized. "Hardly. They're never interested." "Well, I'm interested. Are you any good?" Ms. Alby's cavalier question bordered on rude. of course I was. I excelled at whatever I put my focus on. "No," my chested lifted with pride, "I'm excellent."

  • I couldn't put it down

The Filthy Rich Americans series was in my all time top reads last year and I was beyond excited when I heard Nikki Sloane was giving us Macalister's story as he has been my favorite throughout this series. The Redemption is exactly as the name states, it's a story about redemption and oh boy did Nikki redeem Macalister in fine style. This story was everything. It was emotional, scorching hott, edgy, with a couple of twists you won't expect. These characters were amazing. Macalister and Sophia were both two complex, flawed individuals who fit perfectly together. You will be consumed with these two characters. The tension between them was intense and their chemistry was off the charts, but their steamy scenes set the kindle on fire. The story is told in dual POV and we get insights into what what each characters is thinking. I loved that we get to see the vulnerable side of them and I was totally engrossed in seeing the progression of their relationship and getting to fully know these characters. The Redemption was a phenomenal read worthy of a five star status. Nikki Sloane gave us an age gap romance we won't soon forget, characters we will love, and took us on a journey that was the perfect mix of steam, passion, vulnerability, tenderness and redemption. Without a doubt a top read for 2020, I would highly recommend this novel to all lovers of forbidden romance.

  • Hot villain loves again

This man! If there is a villain character who deserves his own story, and redemption, it is no doubt Macalister Hale. I hopelessly fell in love with his ruthless persona in The Initiation series, so it is my dream come true that he is the sole antihero in this absolutely riveting novel. He commands attention even in his lowest hours. And now, after paying the price for his many mistakes, he comes home to shadows and diminished ambitions. Even Lucifer, the family mansion's black cat, is a damaged reflection of his present status. I loved being inside his head. It is still terrifyingly hard in there, but also a place of rumination and self-judgement. He wants to let go of his sins, start fresh and better, yet he also fears that love is beyond his soul. It really is a pleasure to read about this character. It's like savouring an aged Scotch after a tide of cheap beers. Though I would have wanted even more chapters from his point of view. Now, the plot. He meets a young woman who surprises and challenges him. It is a duel of the mind which slowly translates into hot, carnal temptation. They strike a Devil's bargain, and the consequences are a trap of wild emotions, strategic machinations, unveiled secrets, and a chemistry that rivals Caesar and Cleopatra's. I loved every scene because each one is laced with seduction and sophisticated tension. The characters may seem opposites yet they light a fire with their words and their bodies. Macalister wants to extract her innermost secrets but Sophia puts up a relentless wall. An admirable woman in her resilience, dedication, and drive. Beautifully vulnerable in her desire to please the formidable and feared Hale king. I was mesmerized by every intimate encounter, they are all so intense and vivid. It truly feels like a miracle to witness this man's thawing towards a world of feelings. He never loses his imperial ways, his domineering touch or his strategic mind, yet he opens up to her fresh influence and it is a thing of beauty. I was besotted with some scenes where they exchange texts, or at a lush gala where two amazing things happen, one of furious sensuality and one of inefable romanticism. And oh the last part! It is spectacular. The sudden, heart-squeezing drama of it, it brought me to tears. How could they not be together after everything? It was excruciating to find out that secret, and then feel torn from their ardent relationship, but then the final plot twist was pure art. A masterful plan. And I have never read a more heartfelt act of contrition from a villain-turned-hero in my life! He still wins and gets away with everything 😂 This tale is one of a kind, and worthy of as much praise as drooling over.

  • His redemption was riveting!

I was fascinated by the “villain” Macalister in the first three books of the Filthy Rich Americans series, so when I knew I was getting his story I was elated! After the events in the first three books, Macalister needs back into Boston elite’s good graces. I was intrigued at the beginning with the first meeting of Macalister and Sophia, because she says she can help him. It was the spark and pull between them that got my attention, and as their relationship caught fire and his redemption unfolded I was riveted to the pages. I loved that Sophia loved to get under his skin, test him and push him, but she had vulnerabilities that broke my heart. Macalister was an intoxicating mix of relentless cutthroat billionaire executive who was controlling that demanded excellence from everyone around him, and a man coming undone by a woman who challenged him and a family he realizes he needs to heal because all he ever thought about was himself. Some of the history he revealed about himself to Sophia made me ache for him just like she did. He made me swoon a few times! When the story concludes, Macalister has turned from a villain to a hero at the hands of his equal in Sophia and by what he has learned about himself, and it was a magnificent reading experience. This book took me on an a rollercoaster ride of emotions and twists that had me riveted to the pages and loving it immensely. *I received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review.*
