  • The Revenant

Just read this and Heart of the Ocean back to back and I prefered The Revenant. Two fine reads though. Loved the bit with the maggots and urine!

  • A Chilling Environment! !!

In the lure between wild frontier and powerful ties to modern civilisation, the main character Hugh Glass sets out on a thousands of mile journey with a furr company. Veering through forest and main rivers, Hugh encounters fatal attacks both by nature and territorial Indians . Upon being deserted and robbed, Hugh seeks out retribution through his experienced background as a frontiersman and a tracker. The author admits that the Revenant is a work of fiction however he endeavoured to stay true to history in the main events of the story. I really recommend if your interested in American historic frontiersm also a prelude to watching an Oscar winning movie.

  • Groots

Prachtig! Literair en meeslepend.
