  • Very good story

Enjoyed the book, the flow was very good. The author brought the characters to life and best of all did not take advantage of situations and over dramatize them. An example of this was David returning trinkets. The author could have gone down a whole different road with a fictional scandal as to how they disappeared or someone getting caught returning them to their rightful place. I really enjoyed the honesty and straightforward way that the story was delivered. I agree it was a book of faction not fiction.

  • Very Enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this book. Gave you quite an interesting insight to the life of the royal children. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in royalty/their lives behind the scenes. In the author's own words, this book is 'factional' so you know there's some 'fluff' to make it interesting, but the basic facts/premise is likely fairly accurate.

  • Fascinating read

Another great book by Karen Harper. For anyone who is interested in reading about Britain's royal family this is a must read. The research is meticulous, and the facts and characters are true to their era.

  • A Delight To Step Out of my Comfort Zone

I honestly stepped out of my comfort zone in wanting to read this book, and I'm honestly glad I did. Its well written, and while it's mostly based on fact, I loved reading and the royal family through the eyes of the nanny. Interest in the royal family in the US is nothing like it is "across the pond", and being this rather in depth look was exciting for me. I loved reading about The Royal Nanny, add now I find myself intrigued to read more to discover about such an interesting time period. Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book, and the opinions expressed in this review are
